Who are business brokers?
A
business broker is a trained
intermediary experienced in
the the confidentiality of
businesses for sale to
qualified buyers. Business
brokers place a marketable
price (s) on businesses for
sale that they can prove to a
buyer. The business broker
qualifies the businesses for
sale through a thorough review
of the business financials.
All business brokers should qualify
buyers based on experience,
financial means and a basic
credit history - though most -
if not all - BSN business
brokers DO NOT require credit
reports or financial
statements as part of the
qualification process.
The reality is that business brokers are needed to
protect the integrity of a
business for sale transaction.
Confidentiality is the KEY
COMPONENT. A good business
broker not only finds and
brings in qualified buyers but
he or she is also an expert at
taking the process from offer
to closing.
